The competence base spans atomic-scale and mesoscale characterization, including atom probe tomography, electron channelling contrast imaging, EBSD, field ion microscopy, laboratory-scale reactors and in-operando monitoring.
This competence base draws on MPI-SusMat Circular Metallurgy and Alloy Design, complemented by UDE LNM categories for melting metallurgy, forming technology, metallography, SEM, spectroscopy, sample preparation and image analysis (UDE LNM equipment).
